I offer a free 20-minute video consultation so you can ask questions about my approach to therapy, talk about your expectations, and decide if I am the right therapist for you. You can also call or email me with questions.

Yes, and my clients generally like it better. They’ve often commented about the added convenience and comfort of participating from the privacy of their home or office. In my experience, there is little difference between the quality of an online session versus an in-person session and research seems to be backing this up. I completely understand if you’re only looking or in-person sessions, but if you’re open to trying online, I think you’ll be suprised at how intimate it can be.

I charge $175 per 60-minute session.
Since sessions are virtual, payment is processed through the electronic health record (Simple Practice). This enables you to keep your credit card (including HSA or FSA cards) on file and manage payment settings.

Yes, I’m an in-network provider with CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield and BlueChoice plans. For other insurance, if you receive out-of-network benefits, I will provide a detailed receipt that you can use to request reimbursement. As a licensed independent clinical social worker, my professional services qualify for reimbursement under most health insurance plans, which means that a portion of my fee may be covered. See rates page for more info.
